For Healthy Plant and Flowering Orchids Put a Clove of Garlic on the Soil

Garlic is a very healthy product. And it will be useful not only for us gardeners but also for the plants we grow on the window sills.

Why is garlic so useful?

1. First, it is rich in mineral salts, antioxidants, essential oils, organic acids, which are easily absorbed by the plant and are necessary for it to grow and develop. But that’s not the point.

2. The biggest advantage of garlic for houseplants is that it processes soil, purifies it from pathogenic microorganisms. Garlic secretes an essential oil – allicin. And this substance has a bactericidal and fungicidal effect.

To protect the flower, a clove is enough. Cut it into 3,4 pieces and bury it shallowly in the substrate. After a while, remove the garlic so that it does not rot and cause mold, fungus and the spread of unfavorable microflora.

Both garlic and preparations made from it have a bactericidal and antifungal effect, prevent many pests: aphids, thrips, whiteflies, and also help to get rid of them safely.

Garlic strengthens plant immunity. Thanks to garlic you can hygienize the soil. All of the above properties of garlic are manifested by the sulfur compounds contained in its juice and the pulp.

There is another option for adding garlic to the soil: you can prepare garlic infusion. Grind 1 clove of garlic and pour 1 liter of water, let it stand for a day / 24 hours / and water the plants with the resulting infusion.

In this way, with the help of garlic, we will protect the flowers from the scourge of pests, the spread of fungi and germs. It will become a true savior for them and most importantly – natural and harmless!

What did I personally notice? No more pests! Plants have become stronger: alive, flowering, healthy. Well, this is no accident, because their soil is healthy and clean.
