Headache is a problem that plagues many people’s daily lives. Often, the cause of the intolerable headache is a sharp jump in blood pressure that causes cramps in the blood vessels of the brain.
Of course, there are drug treatments for the problem, but before you resort to the pills, try this tried and tested folk remedy that we will offer you today.
If you haven’t tried saline compresses before, you may want to think seriously. Everything is very simple, affordable and easy, and the effect is at least as good as that of the pill, with no side effects.
You will need:
1 cup of water (heated)
2 tsp salt
Preparation and application:
The salt was dissolved in water, yielding an 8% saline solution.
While the solution is cooling, prepare the compress. Fold the gauze into 8 layers so that the bandage width covers the width of the forehead and the length is equal to the circumference of the head. Wash your forehead with warm water. Then dip the dressing in the cooled saline solution and, after gently squeezing it, wrap it around the head circumference.
Secure the compress with cloth or elastic. Then just relax on the bed and hold the compress until the pain completely disappears. You can hold the compress for up to 15 hours.
Most interestingly, this simple technique normalizes pressure and relieves headaches long-term. So this way is much more recommended than medication.
Try it and you will not regret it!
