The sciatic nerve is the largest of all the nerves in our body. Beginning from the area of the lumbosacral split, its fibers pass all over the leg, providing its inertia. In this respect, the constriction of the sciatic nerve is so painful and causes discomfort.
Fortunately, there are special exercises that can relieve you of pain. We’ll tell you about the two most effective exercises that can easily unlock the sciatic nerve.
Exercises for the sciatic nerve
EXERCISE NUMBER 1
Lie on a flat surface. Bend your leg.
Hold the folded leg with both hands and slowly turn it towards your chest as much as possible. Hold in this position for at least 30 seconds.
Return your leg to its original position and repeat the exercise two more times.
EXERCISE NUMBER 2
Lie on a flat surface. Bend your knees.
Cross your legs as shown in the figure, supporting them with your hands. Stay in this position for 30 seconds or more.
Go back to the starting position. Repeat the exercise two more times.
These exercises can be done individually or in combination. They are approved by doctors advising their patients to do them. To prevent the seizure of the sciatic nerve, it is worthwhile to spend as much physical activity as possible. Walk a lot of walking, do morning exercises and do the exercises we offer after work.
